Simply add the relevant keyword phrase that the page already ranks for just one time in page text content, and watch ranking for that keyword phrase improve in short order.
Because we identify, in most cases, more than a dozen of the highest search volume phrases, search traffic to site often increases dramatically after adding these phrases one time each to site’s text content.
Note that this method does not require “keyword stuffing”, or anything designed to “trick” search engines into providing a rank that your site does not deserve. This method is search engine optimization at it’s finest.

Question:
If a page ranks for a particular search phrase, wouldn’t that phrase already be in the text content of that page?
Answer:
Google search algorithm is sophisticated enough to “understand” the context of most webpages. Your pages undoubtedly are showing for search results of keyword phrases that are not mentioned on the particular page in your site. The thing is, how well is the page ranking for this term? We are constantly amazed at how often we discover extremely relevant keyword phrases for webpages that are not mentioned a single time on the page.

How long does it take before we see results?
Answer:
Basically as long as it takes Google to re-index your website pages. For active websites, we often see results in just one week. For less active sites that are not crawled by Google as often, it may take about two weeks before visible results are detected.

How many keyword phrase suggestions will this analysis produce?
Answer:
We analyze the top 100 search phrases (by search volume) that your sites ranks for. We then eliminate phrases that already appear at least one time in page text content. We also eliminate phrases that are obviously irrelevant. Typically this analysis produces one to three dozen keyword opportunities for well established websites. Traffic Connection does not create these opportunities, we only identify them.

Will this method improve ranking of my website in general, or will it only improve rank for the keyword phrases identified by Traffic Connection analysis and added to pages?
Answer:
Unfortunately in most cases rank will only improve for the keywords that we identify that your site already ranks for, but are not in text content.
Question:
Does Traffic Connection actually install keyword phrases suggested by this analysis on our website, or is that something that we have to handle ourselves?
Answer:
Our analysis produces a spreadsheet list of keyword phrases, monthly search volume of those phrases, and the page that ranks for that phrase. It is up to you to work each relevant keyword phrase into page content. Nobody understands the context of the text content on your page better than you, and we strongly suggest that the addition of these phrases is handled in-house.

Can every website benefit from this method?
Answer:
We have yet to see a well established website that did no gain at least some new search traffic after adding the keyword suggestions offered by the Traffic Connection analysis. That said, in order for our analysis to produce a list of phrases that your site currently ranks for, the site must has a reasonable presence in Google search. Because of this, new websites and sites that currently have very little, or no search traffic are poor candidates for this analysis. If there is no data available for us to analyze, then we can not make keyword recommendations.

Must I provide login access to our website, our Webmaster Tools account, or any of our accounts?
Answer:
All of Traffic Connection’s analysis is done on publicly available data using special tools, and access to your website or private accounts is not needed.
